For a fresh install (without anything previously installed) i did the following and it works:
For a iMac 27 from 2017
Installed extra/Minimum Creative Cloud/Adobe Runtime v1 (ARM & Intel)/Runtime_x86_64.pkg
Installed extra/Minimum Creative Cloud/Adobe Runtime v1 (ARM & Intel)/CCXP.pkg
Adobe Install/Install (open this file with right click)/Show package Contents/Contents/MacOS/install (open this file and say yes to install it using your Mac password)
After finishing the installation:
Open the “Patch.pkg” file and Continue the installation.
I only have selected the first 2 options (Adobe Photoshop 27.4.0 Patcher and the Generative fill alternative).
Insert your mac password and after finishing the installation, it should work.

Working in M5 MBA:
1. Install the minimum CC first
2. Install PS2026
3. Apply the patch
If the minimum CC is not installed beforehand, an error will occur.
What patch? 1.2.5?

What PS2026? There’s nothing there called PS2026. In the folder Adobe Install, there is a file called “Install”. If I run that, I get a message saying that the installer file may be damaged, and I should download it again. But I tried that, and the result is the same.

How hard is it to give the installation instructions for 27.4.0. which would help rookies like me? I’m getting errors while running Adobe Runtime UB package. The installation file doesn’t come with any instructions either to navigate through installation errors.
Im getting error code:501 anyone help
The application was installed without any issue following the instructions, and it opens! But when it got the time to leave, it just stuck and needed to force the exit. Does somebody have a way to solve this? I already tried with or without an internet connection, and still the same issue

neural filter & generative fill not working
I have tried with photoshop and lightroom and it does not work – even tried on to different machines — here ar much too many apps and tools without ANY structured information … Is there not one single true source that

Copy the patcher to the same folder where Photoshop is and run it. Works great.

OK step by step!
This is VERY common and the way I always install any of the Adobe stuff. I do NOT have an account or creative cloud app installed on my M3 Max so just an FYI….
1. mount the DMG after downloading.
2. open system settings from apple menu and keep it open for several usage needed.
3. open the extras folder and install the minimum creative cloud for your platform, usually “intel or AMD” unless you need universal binary which you prob don’t it’s extra ssd usage only….
4. go through the motions of installing the “extra” enter or use touch ID when asked and when it fails, go to the privacy tab in system settings (that we’re keeping open) and say open anyway, then select open anyway from the popup.
5. After the minimum CC stuff is installed go back to the mounted .DMG and right click on the installer and select “show contents” open the “macOS” folder and right click on the install file that will open in terminal.
it will fail, go back to system settings/privacy and security and select open anyway. Then go through the install motions again. IF THIS FAILS SIMPLY TRY AGAIN AND EEP SELECTING OPEN ANYWAY in system settings. Mine usually takes 2 or 3 times to finally open.
6. click continue when the installer ops up. It should how 5% almost immediately then progress until finished.
7, go through the regular install when the terminal opens the install app.
Sometimes it fails….if so, I drag my existing Adobe Photoshop folder from /applications to the trash….then redo the right click on the terminal install method.
works 100% it might just take a few tries. Let it sit..mine hangs at 76% and then 97% for a couple minutes…then it finally finishes.

Hey I just installed it. I’m going to delete it but what happens is when I install or open it it just logs into my old adobe profile and asks me to renew it. How do I fix it?

Thank you so so much!!! I almost given up! It finally works for me!!!! incredible!!! The finishing touch of draging the patch file and instaling that, did it for me <3 and it went good for the first try (I deactivated the gatekeeper before and that helped incredibly.)

I downloaded the DMG file, which opens alright. But when I click on the installer and doing the Privacy and Security “open anyway” bit the installer will NOT run… stating “Error The installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged, Download the installer file again”. This is my second download of this file. Any help please?
Right-click on the Install file and click “Show Package Contents.” Then open the “Contents” folder, go to the “MacOS” folder, and click the Install file to run it. The Terminal will open and the installation will start.
I keep getting “Sorry, installation failed” any tips to bypass this?
I worked it out… I just dragged the files out of the DMG file to my desktop and they installed alright.

Installation works fine. But Remove tool does not work. It used to work till v27.2.0
I found that depending on the complexity of what you are trying to remove is wether or not it will remove the object on the photo (simple things it will remove and complex things it complains about not having any internet connection)
The generative AI of the remove tool is not working although the PS application has internet connection. Generative Crop in RAW does works.
Generative AI part of the remove tool works well till PS v27.2.0
Have a VPN. Make an account at Adobe from some country (Iran is very nice this time of the year) and install within that account. For the last 10 years, it works for me. I have the full AC installed. Mini intel 2018 Sequoia & MBpro 16″ 2019.
I do have full CC installed and logged in. But with versions from v27.3.0, the patcher for some reason is unable to unblock internet connection just for the “REMOVE TOOL” – when using the AI part of the tool. The tool without AI works fine.. Rest PS also works fine including neural filters..
VPN – tried that as well still no luck
Working well on my MBP M4 Pro.
Patcher says “There are now 2 versions of the plugin, one that has more free credits.” All of the options I have to pay for, says “Not enough balance in the account”
Do not work, no install possible
Miracles do happen! Finally, after ages, a Photoshop version with all the bells and whistles that actually works. No missing language packs, patches, tedious manual copying of files, or anything like that. And most importantly, free of any viruses or other malware and bloatware. Please keep it that way.
