        How? Everyone else says it won’t & I can’t get it to either on my mac mini M1. I got the 501 error but bypassed by installing creative cloud. It tries to open photoshop but crashes before splashscreen. Hope you can help us 🙂

          update creative cloud
          if u didnt installed cc then u should install the latest version.
          it will FIX error 501.

          my problem is after this(patched with zii 6.05 and 6.09tried both version ) the PS ver. 22.0.1 is showing error and closes

    I just downloaded on M1 Mac Mini and tried to install but I keep receiving “Error 501” message. Cant install either.

      Yes, it’s just not working. Unfortunately we have to let it go, use 2019 and come back in 6 months to see if anything changed.

        When you receive error 501 just install the latest version of creative cloud app and it will install. However still crashing on M1 chip for me when opening

        yp, i also tried several versions and only 2019 version is working on M1 MBP… but have some issues….
        The panel of “image processor” in scripts is not showing all text, only showing button and blank space layout without text….
        Liquify panel is not showing tools on right side…
        but on my secondary monitor (ASUS ) shows everything perfectly.

    DON’T INSTALL PS 22.2!!! THIS VERSION HAVE ISSUES WITH HIGH RAM & CPU CONSUMPTION. Look for adobe forum. You should waiting for update (22.2.1)
    Don’t waste your time, just continue for working with latest v22.1

      I’ve been thinking of downgrading to a 2020 or 2019 version, adobe doesn’t listen us and each time they make the app slower and heavier adding so many new unnecessary features

      Mine works just fine, after reading some discussions turns out enabling “preset syncing” causes the problem, so simply don’t turn it on.

    The installer seems to be corrupted, I can’t open it. I receive a message error. But thanks anyway for the work!

      I found a way to to circumvent this on Big Sur. Control + Click the Install.app, Open -> Show Package Content -> Contents -> MacOS and run the ‘Install’ with Control Click again. Accept the prompts and the Terminal will open, and soon, the GUI for the installer.

      If your mac detects its as a possible malware, go to Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Click on the padlock so you can make changes and then click on ‘Open Anyway’ and try to open the Install with Control Click again.

    does anyone has clear instructions how on earth to install this file?
    so I open the downloaded dmg file –> it opens a window with: “Adobe Zii 2021 6.0.8.app” and a folder named “Extra” –> then anything I press it will say: ” …app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. — What do I have to do? how do I make it work?

    Please help, really need this.

      Restart your Mac.
      Before OS X starts up, hold down Command-R and keep it held down until you see an Apple icon and a progress bar. Release. This boots you into Recovery.
      From the Utilities menu, select Terminal.
      At the prompt type exactly the following and then press Return: csrutil enable
      Terminal should display a message that SIP was disabled.
      From the  menu, select Restart.

      Seems very simple. Mounted the DMG, go to Extras, double click Install.app, wait until finish the installation, and then open the Adobe Zii thingy that is in the root mount.
      This is what worked for me.

    somebody on the earth plz tell us how to make this application work in mac m1 big sur. i tried multiple ways, non of them are working. 1st problem error code 501, solved by using latest creative cloud & turned off the internet connection & tried installing photoshop v22.2 after all installation & patch, photoshop gets crashed. plz somebody help the process of installation. also tried to install older version v20.0.5, but unable work on filters like camera RAW & Liquify panel which is not showing tools on right side….

    Installed without any problem. However, when I launch the app, it crashes after 30 seconds.

    Im running the downloaded dmg (3.41GB) and I get the “Adobe Zii & Extra folder”, where is the application cause running the Adobe Zii looks to patch an existing application.
    Please help.

      Go into the “Extra” folder and double click on the “Install” file. Then just install photoshop once you are finished with installing, double click on “Adobe Zii 2021 6.0.8” when you first opened the dmg file. That will patch and remove the “Login Screen”.

    hey everyone hopefully someone can help me,… i DONT have m1 chip… normal macbook pro 2012 running big sur… installation runs without any issues,.. opening photoshop and work for a minute or so,… it asks me if i want to save the file and then closes… can someone tell me whats going on? reinstalled everything but still crashes (version 21.2.5 works without any flaws) but id like to update in the future

    also im blocking every adobe CCloud and the ps app and everything that has to do with it from the internet… for obvious reasons…

    so hope someone can help please
