This version does not work its activation. Won’t it be fixed?
To make it work, follow these steps:
1. First, install the Lulu app.
2. Then, turn off the internet.
3. Install AdGuard, but **do not open it**.
4. After that, install AdGuard Tools.
5. Now, turn the internet back on. The AdGuard Tools will prompt you to install a proxy — allow it.
6. Next, the Lulu app will show a window asking if you want to allow AdGuard to connect to the internet and communicate with the server — **do not allow it**.
And that’s it! Everything should work perfectly. You can thank me once it does!
Don’t know how to do anything beyond simple installation?

Hey, be careful with this software, if have installed and then you want to remove it. you will have this issue when you try to install a genuine license: “the license service is not available”. to solve it, you have to edit this file in your Mac.
sudo nano /etc/hosts
then just comment or remove this line added by the activation tool
127.0.0.1 api.adguard.org
then press “ctrl+x”
then press “Y” to save changes
the reason of this problem is simple, adguard will try to find their servers in your Mac thanks to that line you have removed. For this reason the activation tool doesn’t works properly and it will never do it.

uBlock Origin has got better ratings then Adguard and in fact has Adguard filters that you can invoke in the settings. Best part is, it’s free!
Stack Social has a AdGuard: Lifetime Subscription for $20, which while not ‘free’ is very good value and you get a lifetime of updates. Much as I love warez, this is one I bought on offer.
Your best bet for ad blocking is to use uBlock Origin.
It is rated #1 for best ad blocker
