LightWave 3D v2024.1.0 for Mac
LightWave 3D from LightWave Digital is a veteran 3D modeling, animation, and rendering suite with twin apps Modeler and Layout, node-based surfacing, procedural geometry, and integrated OctaneRender support.
Version 2024.1.0 (build 3430) is a maintenance and feature update on the 2024 line, adding motion-transfer tools, Octane depth-of-field controls, Mac stability work, and broad fixes across rigging, ProGeo, Modeler slide tools, and I/O.

- Motion Dump & Motion Scoop — store and reapply motion from multiple selected items
- Motion Copy and Paste — copy animation between characters/objects; RHiggit Motion Copy ADV gains frame-range control
- Octane DOF node — viewport-friendly depth of field; can use LightWave’s own F-stop

Has anybody managed to get this working on a M5 Mac and if so, can you please share the steps here thank you!!
Thank you…Worked perfectly on my Intel Hackingtosh with SIP disabled…but wouldn’t work with my M1 (even with xattr -c -r /pathtoapp/app.app)…so i assume this only works on machines with SIP disabled.
