these U2B releases are more work to get running than they’re worth. Nothing but a pain in the butt.

Why Maya 2024 is so easy to install but the upgrade to 0.1 its hard?
I notice one realease is U2B and other is UB2.
They are not the same “group”?

There is one step is missing in redme file.
You have to copy license.dat file into /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/ folder.
After editing /etc/hosts file just execute this line in terminal:
sudo /usr/local/flexnetserver/lmgrd -c license.dat
And last thing is when first time launching Maya choose network license and enter 27080@localhost as server address.

Theres is not a flexlm folder or licenses folder and I get: command not found in terminal

can you please write a full instruction list, ive copied the file over license folder. But Im not sure what to do in terminal.

Doesn’t work on mbp m1pro. I have followed the steps, badly explained by the way, even creating a folder that didn’t exist (FLEXlm) to host the License.dat. Also, the .dylib file is missing… a complete mess of explanations. In the end, I got as far as I could to the last step, and when I open the program,a window to activate the license appeared. I click on network license , choose single, and type “27080@hostname”, as it says in the raedme and I get that the server is not available. Any solution??
