3. Hi folks! The installation works fine on my 2020 Intel MBP 13″, but when I open AI, it takes a very long time and then shows a black window. If I click “New…” in the top bar, nothing happens, but opening an existing .ai file works. Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve tried almost every AI release, but none of them work properly.     Copy the desired languages ​​from IT-FR-ES-DE into the folders of the same name. There will be 4.
    Search for the file: application.xml in: /Applications/Adobe Illustrator 2025/Support Files/AMT/AI/AMT/application.xml
    Edit the “installedLanguages”>en_US” to, for example, “installedLanguages”>de_DE”.
    To do this, first copy the file to the desktop, open it with TextEdit, edit, save, change the name to “application.xml”, delete the old file and copy it to the original location, and finally fix the permissions. Click on the AMT folder, cmd+i, open the lock at the bottom right and click “Apply to all sub-objects …” a little to the left (icon with a circle and 3 dots). Done

Marco… ho prelevato le cartelle it_IT da una istallazione, sempre della versione 29.0.1 cc 2025, presa su altro sito; la versione diceva che era universal ma poi una volta craccato photoshop non funzionava più (bug o altro), però nelle cartelle come detto sopra erano presenti i vari it_IT, che ho prelevato, e di tutte le altre lingue… poi con questa versione da questo sito mettendo le it_IT nelle varie cartelle e cambiando la lingua dalle impostazioni, avviato il tutto andava ancora in inglese… ho semplicemente sostituito, eliminandole, le cartelle us_US originali con le cartelle it_IT queste ultime però rinominandole proprio us_US, riavviato e la lingua dell’interfaccia è cambiata

    On another site I found a multilingual version that said it was Universal so Intel and ARM, but the installed version was ARM so it didn’t work on my Intel…

    I took from this version in 3 different folders the it_IT file (in my case, but the files of all languages ​​were present) more precisely from “cool extras”, “presets” and “Support Files”>”New Document Profiles” and “Resources” and I placed them in the same paths where only the us_US file was present of the version of Illustrator downloaded and installed here but only working in English; started, changed language from preferences but the interface after restart was always in English…

    I deleted the original us_US folders and renamed my it_IT folders to us_US… restarted and by magic Illustrator was transformed into Italian
