Palworld
An open-world survival and crafting game from Pocketpair where you befriend creature-like Pals, automate bases, explore biomes, and fight poachers across the Palpagos Islands—now at full 1.0 release after Early Access.
Core loop on Mac
You land on Palpagos, gather resources, capture Pals in spheres, and assign them to combat, farming, mining, or factory work. Mounts cover land, sea, and sky traversal; base building supports large structures with Pal labor; dungeons and tower bosses gate progression. Multiplayer lets friends co-op or trade Pals on supported platforms. The Mac build is sold through the Mac App Store (not Steam on macOS) and targets Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 14.0 or later; install size is large (tens of GB), so plan storage before downloading.
Version 1.0 (July 2026) exited Early Access with Sunreach sky islands, the World Tree story arc, 72 new Pals (287 total), Awakening and Mutation systems, revamped sanctuaries, watchtowers, ancient ruins, and broad rebalance across combat, building, and multiplayer. Pocketpair also added a macOS-specific key-binding option in 1.0 to fix Build Mode axis alignment failing with keyboard and mouse.
Build 1.0.1.100619
Patch v1.0.1 (build label 1.100.619, July 2026) is a small hotfix one day after 1.0 launch—no new content. Pocketpair fixed save data that could be unintentionally discarded after certain operations and a bug where the burning status persisted after touching a campfire. PlayStation and Xbox builds in the same patch also received platform-specific save and teleport fixes; Mac players benefit from the universal save and status-effect corrections. Install the update before loading important worlds and back up saves; the notice describes prevention, not recovery of data already lost under 1.0.
