crashes on opening after installing the patch. Any one has a different result?

Did you find out how to make it work? Once installed and patched, I got stuck at the license manager screen which keeps loading. I have M1 with Big Sur 11.4

install until the end, open finder, go to the Cinema 4D.app file, right click it and choose ‘Get info’ , over ‘General’ flag on ‘Open using Rosetta’. Now, close the window, launch the Cinema 4D.app wait until it’s asking you the username and password, don’t write anything, close the app instead and go patching it, wait for the patch app finishing its magic and… Done!

Delete your current version and traces, download the offline version (on official website), after install it (dont open it when its done), install the patch, done !

Thx a lot. In fact if you don’t open it before patch, it loops to open and eentually does not open. On the contrary, by opening before patching, everything goes well!

Doesn’t work. The patch looks sketchy too, doesn’t add anything to the app, probably adding something harmful instead.

After trying numerous times I finally got it to work.
Follow these steps:
1. Install C4D
2. Launch application immidiately after the installation is complete. (before patching)
3. The log in dialogue box will appear at launch. Close the dialogue box and quit C4D
4. Install patch
5. Launch C4D

Hi everyone,
I found out that it works only with Rosetta.
After Installing and patching, get info of C4D app then check “Open with Rosetta” box.
And it will work.
I know it’s weird because I also thought that S24 worked with M1, without Rosetta.
