    my setup: OS X Sonoma, Logic Pro 10.8

    – installs okay – just follow the instruction.
    – this is NOT a standalone.
    – as others noted, Master Assistant crashes the DAW.
    – no presets included, as also noted by others.
    – other modules work okay tho’

    so this is is mainly usable, as ONLY Master Assistant not working.
    btw, when you clicked on Master Assistant for the first time, an error window popped-up saying, “Required resource files cannot be found. Please re-install Ozone to restore the missing resource files…”

    hope that help those curious.

      okay. I’ve reinstalled and followed this suggestion by Athan (originally written for the installation of Nectar)

      one IMPORTANT step to follow when replacing the modules:

      +++++++++++++

      ATHAN:

      … when you copy the cracked files, don’t copy the entire folder, copy and replace one bundle file at a time to the appropriate location, because when you copy the whole folder it actually replaces all the contents and deletes files that Nectar needs (unfortunately that’s how Mac works, it never merges folders, it replaces them)

      When you copy the cracked files don’t copy them with the folders/subfolders because it replaces needed files that are in the iZotope Nectar folders. Only copy and replace the bundle files one by one! (re-install it now to put the files back and the replace them again). Its a Mac thing unfortunately it doesn’t merge folders.

      ++++++++

      I did this and the Master Assistant started to work, as everything else. thanks, Athan.

    I figured out why people are having problems with apple cannot check for malicious software.

    1. Reinstall Izotope 11 , this will reset everything back to what it should be.

    2. Open Logic pro or any audio editor you will be using the Izotope plugins in. Do not copy the cracked files yet into their destination folders. Let your editor load all the plugins which will be uncracked. Then close your audio editor.

    3. Independently copy and past the K’D files into their correct folder one by one. Do not overwrite the folder as this will delete important files.

    4. Open Terminal app and copy and paste the entire code for code signing, press enter and enter your mac password and then press Enter.

    5. Now you can reopen Logic or any audio editor and everything should be working. Enjoy !!!

      Thanks Chris, I use iZotope rx 10 and your method works perfectly. I only had to force authorization of the 1st module in my security settings and restart iZotope rx… And everything is there!

      Hello Chris, I followed all of these instructions but I am still getting the malicious software error when I try to open ozone in Logic. I have an M1 mac running on Sonoma 14.3.1 Do you have any idea what else could be causing this issue? Thanks

    Followed the instruction very carefully and no luck with Ableton 11. I have not tried it with Logic. Uninstalled all the files after trying a few times.

    I followed all the steps that chris0071 said and it has worked perfectly for me, with ableton 11 and Ventura 13.5.2. I don’t know if I should upgrade to Sonoma.
