11. Installs and launches on my Mac Studio M2. BUT it crashes the instant I try to do anything.
    I think I’m going to revert back about 3 updates, when I had it all working fine.

    – you see the patcher that comes with this 25.5 release is the ‘no account’ one which blocks everything net-wise.. again it’s a shame they don’t include both patcher types with each release!!

    3. Before you even think about installing you have to have created a free adobe account and have it signed in, signed in on your browser, safari etc. Also be sure to have Adobe AntiCC 5.9 installed (so you don’t need any creative cloud crap on your mac)..

       You install (25.4 – not this 25.5) and then use the patch. Then use little snitch to block adobe.io and adobe.com in the Photoshop tree branch – (leave all others able to access the net), this stops the unlicensed / closing nag..

       Launch PS and ensure that in the Help section in the menu bar that you are signed in. Generative should work.

       Another thing to try is installing Creative Cloud, sign in, then uninstall it and reinstall Adobe AntiCC 5.9, and retry. PS must show signed in on that Help tab you see or Gen wont work.

       Anyone who goes to the trouble of getting this working, please don’t go mad with it.. if Adobe notice a huge increase of Generations on their AI servers they might look into why and find a way to block this loophole.. bastards that they are!! 😂

    4. No one using a bootlegged Adobe PS can ever have a Gen AI. And that is a solid fact. Gen AI is a cloud processing module – not software driven like adjustment layers or raw processing, etc. Gen AI is like those web processing photo editors that you have to be on line (wifi) to edit uploaded photos.

       Hence, it is futile to keep on griping missing Gen AI on torrent site downloaded Adobe PS. We should be grateful for having the latest and working Adobe PS version inspite of some missing Gen AI that for me is not a game changer at all nor for those who are experts in photo editing.
