    As MacGuy said: disable SIP
    Reboot into recovery mode then open terminal and enter the following command: csrutil disable

    Restart your mac.

    No audio imput signal due to impossibility to add microphone permissions in security & confidentiality without re-enabling SIP otherwise cubase is crashing (even if you use an audio interface and everything is ok in studio config and audio routing the cubase icon does not appear)
    MIDI is working fine
    Bounce & stems exports are fine
    forget about tracking audio with cubase 12 functionalities but it’s still good to be able to use audio warp and audio to midi to edit stems though

    if anyone as a terminal procedure to add cubase pro 12 or make it visible in security & confidentiality / microphone access that would be great and then we would have a full capable version of this software

    Maybe installing a trial version of cubase pro 12 if it exist; authorize then re-install the cracked version can maybe work i’ll try this and tell you later

    Solution Here guys !!!

    1- re enable SIP

    restart in recovery mode press cmd R until computer start find terminal and type
    csrutil enable

    restart again

    2- go to steinberg create new account and get a trial version of cubase pro 12 and DL steinberg assitant
    follow all the steps required to DL the trial version

    3- start cubase and allow cubase to have access to documents and microphone

    4- Trash Steinberg DL assistant in applications folder with an app like app delete or any app removing all the hidden content app delete available on this site works fine
    trash steinberg activation manager with app delete too if there is no uninstaller

    5- there is a folder named steinberg in your apps you can’t miss it there is no icons on the folder uninstall the program inside via the unistaller

    6- restart in recovery mode again press cmd R find the terminal and deactivate SIP with csrutil disable
    Restart

    7- folllow all the steps in the cracked version skip the 1st one because SIP is already disabled

    8- still with app delete trash eLicenser in the

    Start Cubase Pro 12 and now you have audio imput signal in the DAW

    tried everything and it’s working perfectly !

    If no audio signal imput Solution Here guys !!! the process is 10 min max

    1- re enable SIP

    2- go to Steinberg create new account and get a trial version of cubase pro 12 and DL Steinberg assistant
    follow all the steps required to DL the trial version VIA Steinberg Download manager the link will be sent via email when registering

    3- start cubase and allow cubase to have access to documents and microphone it’s very important that’s why the cracked version don’t work !!! macOS simply don’t even recognize the microphone access with the cracked version !

    4- Trash Steinberg DL assistant in applications folder with an app like app delete or any app removing all the hidden content app delete is available on this site and works fine
    trash Steinberg activation manager with app delete too if there is no uninstaller

    5- there is a folder named Steinberg in your apps you can’t miss it there is no icons on the folder uninstall the program inside via the uninstaller or trash it if not

    6- restart in recovery mode again press cmd R find the terminal and deactivate SIP with csrutil disable
    Restart

    7- folllow all the steps in the cracked version skip the 1st one because SIP is already disabled

    8- still with app delete trash eLicenser in Application

    9- block cubase connexions with a firewall personally i use Radio Silence, very simple and efficient
    i tried without blocking it works fine, but we never knows

    Start Cubase Pro 12 and now you have audio imputs and audio signal in the DAW

    tried everything and it’s working perfectly !

    Here’s the method to activate Audio input without installing the demo trial from Steinberg ( Tested 100% working ):’

    You need to Install the following apps ( plenty of methods on How to do it )
    1- Homebrew
    2- Xcode & Xcode Command-Line Tools
    3- Python3
    4- Tccutil 1.2 ( keep it in your download folder )
    https://github.com/DocSystem/tccutil/releases/tag/1.2

    Now that you have all the apps installed above run:

    5: Terminal command:
    sudo python3 /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Downloads/tccutil-1.2/tccutil.py -e -p /Applications/Cubase\ 12.app –microphone

    Cubase audio input is now activated.

    here the solution for the microphone signal, working for me in Osx 10.15 Catalina

    Firstly you need to disable temporarily SIP (System Integrity Protection) in order to proceed to the next steps.
    Reboot your Mac and hold Command+R on startup. This will bring up the Recovery Mode.
On top of the screen, open Utility->Terminal and type:
    csrutil disable
    Enter.
Reboot.
    2.
    Go to User/Library/Preferences, scroll down and find the com.steinberg.cubase12.plist . You gonna need that name (without .plist) later in Terminal.
    If you can’t find it, type in Terminal the following:
    mdls -name kMDItemCFBundleIdentifier -r
    from the Applications folder drag Cubase app inside Terminal.
    You should now have something like this:
mdls -name kMDItemCFBundleIdentifier -r /Applications/Cubase\ 12.app
    Hit enter twice.
    This will show you a Cubase ID which should look like “com.steinberg.cubase12” .
Select and copy it, you’ll use it next.
    3.
    To manually give permission for Cubase to access the microphone,
Type in Terminal
    sudo sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db “INSERT or REPLACE INTO access VALUES(‘kTCCServiceMicrophone’,’com.steinberg.cubase12’,0,1,1,NULL,NULL,NULL,’UNUSED’,NULL,0,1551892126);”
    Hit Enter.
    Now, Cubase should be on the Microphone Security list, check if it is.
    4.
    To enable again SIP:
    Reboot your Mac and hold Command+R on startup for Recovery Mode again.
open Utility->Terminal and type:
    csrutil enable
    Restart.
Done.

      No need to enable SIP.

    Works great!

    Install demo from Steinberg first to enable mic, reboot and disable SIP.
    Install cracked version, enable SIP and reboot.

    Only issue I’ve had is HALion SE and Groove Agent SE are missing.

    Hello.
    1. Do I need to have the SIP disabled for Cubase to work?
    2. Is there any way to run Cubase with SIP enabled? Because the only way for the program to run is if SIP is disabled and I don’t like that idea.

    Help!!!

    My system is macOS catalina 10.15. It seems to work well, for the audio input problem, I followed the steps of Blukids and it was immediately successful, thanks!… Keep in mind that if it throws an error, replace quotes in plain text format, sometimes when pasting them in comments they get messed up.

    I will try the program to see how it evolves in everything.

    Running Ventura 13.6.4 on Intel chip.

    App won’t start, following error:

    “Cubase 12.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin. This file was downloaded on an unknown date.”

    The installation went perfectly in Sonoma 14.4, the only thing I have not been able to do is grant the microphone permissions.
    I have tried from the terminal with the instructions that have been discussed but I cannot change the record in TCC.db.

    If anyone knows how, I’ll be grateful.

      Try typing in terminal (for Sonoma):

      sudo sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db “INSERT or REPLACE INTO access VALUES(‘kTCCServiceMicrophone’,’com.steinberg.cubase12′,0,2,2,1,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,’UNUSED’,NULL,0,1652639195);”

      Remember to replace apostrophes in plain text
