A desktop TikTok archiver for macOS that mass-downloads videos from accounts, hashtags, and sounds, then stores MP4 files locally for offline viewing and backup.
Instead of copying clips one by one in a browser, you paste a username, hashtag, sound link, or single video URL into the search bar and queue a download. The app organizes output into folders under a chosen directory—profiles and hashtags land in separate subfolders—so large archives stay navigable. Built-in playback opens files in your default player; hovering a thumbnail shows caption text you can copy. Paid tiers can strip the TikTok watermark from one clip or a batch after download.
Typical Mac workflow
Creators and researchers often run subscriptions: pin favorite accounts or tags, then let the app check for new posts and pull them automatically when it launches. Logging in inside the app unlocks liked videos, Favorites, private accounts you follow, and a full backup of your own profile including the avatar. Proxy location switching is available when you need region-specific trending content. Results are saved as MP4 at up to Full HD when TikTok provides that quality—not true 4K source video despite the product name.
InterPromo GMBH distributes separate installers for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs (macOS 12 or later). The free Starter plan keeps basic downloads with tight caps; Lite is an annual subscription, Personal is a lifetime personal license, and Pro is the business-oriented lifetime tier. On the U.S. storefront, Pro is listed around $45 lifetime (often discounted from $60), covers up to three computers, removes ads, allows commercial use, and lifts simultaneous and daily download limits that constrain lower plans. Future updates are included for the life of the product according to the vendor’s license FAQ.

At the time of writing, 4K Download had not published a dedicated blog changelog for this release, so treat 26.0.0 as the current major line rebuild after the 25.4.x series (which already included native Apple Silicon). Expect continued bulk download, subscription, and watermark workflows rather than a documented new feature set until official release notes appear.
