Hey guys. Took me a bit to make this work as I was dealing with permissions issues as well. I ended up copying the files out of the DMG into the default directory that Waves Central looks for when installing plugins. Which is Users/NAME/Public/Waves Offline Installer.

Then point Waves Central to the directory and it should work. This was the only location that didn’t produce an error. Hope this helps out. This version definitely works.

It does work Em, you have too use older OS X than Catalina to unzip or use anytoIso app to turn it into an iso and then transfer back to Catalina and that should fix your issue.

I finally got it working on logic.
The instructions underneath in this chat thread are spot on however to get it to work in logic I had to
1 open logic , it will auto scan the new waves plugins but fail and asks for the licenses…. doesn’t matter, just click skip all
2 go into preferences and find au plugins manager
3 find the waves plugins and tick all the boxes on the right hand side of each plugin
4 click run and test all au plugins
5 it should then rescan all of the waves plugins and successfully validate all of them.
5 close logic and reopen it.
Hope this helps someone out there.

    Hopefully this will help someone…

    • Unzip and Install Central_Offline-latest-Mac.zip first

    • Open Waves – 2.12.19 folder and unmount Waves Central-11.0.43.dmg

    • Open and Launch the Waves Central app after dragging to applications

    • Open a finder window and drag files titled “install.cen” and “Data” from Waves – 2.12.19 folder folder into Waves Offline installer located in Users/Username/Public

    • Go into Waves Central and select the Offline Installer Tab then click the Browse Button

    • Make sure the install.cen installer appears and click Open

    • Select Device to select all plugins and then click install button then enter password when prompted

Wait for install and enjoy 🙂

Yes dude, thank you so much. This is so simple and should be a text file with the installer. This is the 2nd time I nearly gave up on getting v11 as I thought it was a broken download!

if done all these methods and others and the furthest I get too is everything installs fine and when I load up logic it asked for the serials for the waves plugins.. also I went to waves offline installer in users/username/public and ran the waves v11 au reg and still nothing.. I am only stuck on getting the serials for the plugins to work. other then that I’m close to giving up and waiting…ive been doing this for over 7 hours…. or trying…

Nate’s instructions worked fine for me, however, I made sure to run the license engine after I installed it since Ableton was not permitting me usage OF the dang old freakin’ plugins. Needless to say, after about a half hour of troubleshooting, I have them working!

Nates comment worked for me! Just did not mention also run waves license engine after all the steps.

I found a good download of this version called Waves.11.Complete.v16.01.20.MacOS-iND.
    Try torrenting it.

    Hello Everyone !

Each time I launch Logic, it automatically rescan all my plugins… They are all validated unless 3 (Bass Slapper, Bass Fingers and Grand Rahpsody).
The problem is that I have to wait 10 min each time that I start logic….
    Any idea on why ??

    Thanxxxx

How do you “run the license engine”? I’m having the same problem of not being able to activate the plugins because I don’t have the license. I see the file WavesLicenseEngine.bundles in Finder (Users/User Name/Public/Waves Offline Installers/Data/V11/Mac/Modules) but I don’t know how to activate or “run” it. I’ve tried locating/accessing the file through Waves Central App but I can’t find a way to do that either. Please help!
