unexpected application termination “NEW APP”
You can install Xcode using the standard Terminal utility using the command:
xcode-select –install
After entering the command, press Enter and follow the installation procedure followed by restarting the Terminal.
Sign the application.
You can sign an application using the standard Terminal utility using the command:
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/NewApp.app
Note that the command includes the path to the application … i.e. after “sign -” you need to put a Space and drag the application into the Terminal window.
Press Enter and enter the administrator password.
The password is not displayed when entered into the Terminal, but is entered. After entering the password, press Enter.

Hello,
When I enter the command
xcode-select –install
The Terminal gives me this message:
xcode-select: error: invalid argument ‘-install’
Usage: xcode-select [options]
And after entering :
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/NewApp.app
Terminal gives me this message:
invalid argument “rce”
The app opens, but it asks for the key or password
Can you please help me?
Thanks

xcode-select –install
then
codesign –f –d –s – “drag the app with a space after the “-”
But you should copy/paste all the “-” strait from the terminal, it look like they are not the same “-” if you copy from here.
found the solution here https://www.torrentmac.net/graphisoft-archicad-23-build-3003/

for mac os big sur 11.2.3, you must download xcode from app store then enter these line in the terminal :
codesign –deep –force –verbose –sign – /Applications/GRAPHISOFT/ARCHICAD\ 24/ARCHICAD\ 24.app/
you must repeat this when installing update.

hola a todos
en mi caso Descargue archicad 24 desde la pagina oficial en español luego descargue la app desde aquí, instale la app oficial, pero use los crack de la app descargada desde esta pagina y funciona perfectamente bien al menos desde Catalina 10.15.7

Hello
the correct fix is :
codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/ (DRAG THE AUTOCAD APP HERE)
(enter) and wait a few second until the process ends
Work on BigSur 11.4 with intel
June 13, 2021 1:42 pm
I don’t know why but here in the chat it deletes a symbol. in front of force, deep, swing the symbol – must be written twice

Hi guys, just found the solution on Big Sur
Use this command with 2 dashes, it will work
codesign –force –deep -s – /Applications/Graphisoft/ARCHICAD\ 24/ARCHICAD\ 24.app
or
codesign –force –deep -s – MyApp.app
July 7, 2021 10:02 am
My solution….
After I installed ARCHICAD 24 and replaced ARCHICAD file in ARCHICAD24.app (right button on file “Show package contents -> Contents -> MacOS”) did this….
1. Install Xcode from AppStore
2. Open Terminal -> cd /Applications/GRAPHISOFT/ARCHICAD\ 24 or cd and drag the folder, this change the directory
3. codesign –force –deep -s – “drag ARCHICAD24.app” (from GRAPHISOFT/ARCHICAD folder). Don’t forget the space after last “-“. Asked my for my Mac password. Now you should wait about a minute, until it setup the file. If everything is ok you should see “replacing existing signature”
4. codesign –force –deep -s – “drag ARCHICAD” (from GRAPHISOFT/ARCHICAD/ARCHICAD24/Contents/MacOS). One more time – don’t forget the space after last “-” Asked my again for my Mac password and wait again about a minute, until it setup the this file too. If everything is ok you should see “replacing existing signature”
5. After that a few times when I tried to open ARCHICAD it crashed. Than I tried to open *.pln and after a few minutes ARCHICAD 24 started.
Hope it will work for you guys!

if someone get’s an error on Big Sur that it’s not going to run on this version of OS, then make sure to update to the latest version of Big Sur, then reinstall all over again and it will work after codesigning…

I found a very interesting way to go about it and solved the issue very fast. I have been doing research for almost one year that I had to purchase articles to get it right since I desperately needed it to work. You don’t need the XCode stuff to have it working. I know this community is for helping each other but just to appreciate my effort, I will need a token so for I to share my findings. Whoever needs the solution hit me up on Telegram @Unknown_knowledge. I will also share with you a video record of mine working
