  • Mac 10.15 Catalina.
  • 8 GB of system memory. 16 GB when using Fusion.

    I can’t do it. in instructions i need to replace kd file to folder with davinci. but “k-d” it is a folder with zipped file ‘resolve”. i unzipped it to Resolve folder and tried to execute. sistem says my that it is damaged and offer me to delete it. after that i entered codesign to terminal. at least davinci wants activation key 🤯

      El archivo al descomprimir no lo tienes que ejecutar, tienes que remplazarlo en la ruta que se indica

    Yea the location where the kd file needs to be replaced doesnt exist. I just have applications – davinciresolve – and the theres just the aplications like davinci resolve, davinci remote monitoring, fairlight studio utility a documents folder and thats pretty much it

    go to the finder: “applications” – davinciresolve – and then just click right button mouse on the ICON davinci resolve – show package – content etc..

    No need for serial here are the steps.
    1. install
    2. go back to folder where the installer is located
    3. Open k’d file folder and unzip file
    4. Copy K’d file then right click the installed app
    5. Select from drop down menu “show package contents”
    6. go to MacOS folder
    7. Paste file and replace file “Resolve”
    8. Execute Resolve File you just installed
    9. Wait for Terminal window to do its job
    10. APP should open with no serial needed
    11. skip upgrade
    12 enjoy

    Thanks a ton, works great on macos 13.1 M1 pro.

    From finder go to Aplications
    Click Davinci resolve
    Right click on Davinci resolve app – Show Package Contents
    Click Contents folder
    Click Macos folder
    Replace Resolve with unzipped one from downloaded K’d folder
    Click on it and WHAIT till process is finished
    Enjoy app 🙂

    PS: this AI voice isolator is a sick things – no more worries about having bad sound, it’s wirking grat

    2. Open Terminal and enter the following command.

    sudo perl -pi -e ‘s/\x20\x04\x00\x34\x3E/\x21\x00\x00\x14\x3E/g’ /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

    sudo codesign -f -s – /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

      -i used with no filenames on the command line, reading from STDIN.
      Unrecognized character \xE2; marked by <– HERE after <– HERE near column 1 at -e line 1.
      -bash: ’: command not found

      What steps I do wrong?

      I have fixed the code using the straight quotes instead curly ones you’ve put in

    Here’s what worked for me to run the 18.5 public beta:

    1st step: Go to Davinci’s Official website and download the 18.5 studio public beta

    2nd step: Install it

    3rd step: Open terminal and enter this command first:

    sudo perl -pi -e ‘ s/\x03\x00\x85\xC0\x74\x7A\xE8/\x03\x00\x85\xC0\xEB\x7A\xE8/g;’ -e ‘s/\x04\x00\x34\x35\x4C/\x04\x00\x35\x35\x4C/g’ /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

    4th step: Enter this command:

    sudo codesign -f -s – /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

    —– this one worked for me perfectly fine on MacBook Pro 15, Late 2017 (Intel )

    Install Davinci 18.5 from website.

    1. Open Terminal, enter:

    sudo perl -pi -e ‘ s/\x03\x00\x85\xC0\x74\x7A\xE8/\x03\x00\x85\xC0\xEB\x7A\xE8/g;’ -e ‘s/\x04\x00\x34\x35\x4C/\x04\x00\x35\x35\x4C/g’ /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

    But be careful! Many times this code is written wrong, you have to use straight quotes in this code, not curly ones.

    2. In Terminal enter:

    sudo codesign -f -s – /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

    3. Enjoy. And keep in mind, that you have to upgrade project to 18.5 ver. An you couldn’t reverse it later.

        It’s because of codesign command on this site autocorrects into wrong sentence, when anyone uploads comment. Just as the first command. So all instruction becomes rubbish.

        Imagine “minus” word is the minus sign on your keyboard. Then in the second step it should be written as something like: sudo codesign minusminusforce minusminusdeep minusminussign and then the rest of it.

        You can download earlier version of Davinci torrent and seek for README, where the code is written in correct manner.

          Thx Cane, makes sense and actions the code correctly now, however, I can’t get 18.5 to work without the watermark, so I guess it’s not believing its a legit copy?

          18.1 works fine, with replacing the resolve.app in /contents/MacOS – but theres no need to do anything like that with 18.5? Simply download, then run the code?

            Not to worry, it appears that you HAVE to download direct from the BlackMagic site and not the torrent here. At least for me anyway.
