n-Track Studio Suite
A cross-platform digital audio workstation from n-Track S.r.l. that combines multitrack recording, MIDI editing, built-in effects, and a large bundled sound library for musicians who want a full production environment without a subscription—unless you choose Suite+.
Typical Mac workflow
You create a project in the Song Browser, add unlimited audio, MIDI, and step-sequencer tracks, then record through your interface while waveforms update in real time. The Suite edition includes every Extended feature—64-bit processing, surround mixing up to 7.1, hardware control-surface support, all n-Track effect plug-ins, and the multilayer sampler—plus more than 400 playable sample instruments and 15GB+ of royalty-free loops and editable sessions. AU, VST2, VST3, and CLAP plug-ins load on individual channels alongside built-in tools such as VocalTune, AI MixSplit stem separation, and the Vocal Harmonizer.
Editing happens in the piano roll, step sequencer, drum pads, and waveform views. Version 10.3 added AI-powered Audio-to-MIDI conversion, per-note MIDI envelopes, a global Solo button, and automatic BPM detection with beat alignment for imported audio. On Mac, projects can move between desktop and mobile n-Track apps when you need to sketch on iPhone or iPad and finish on the Mac.

Suite is a one-time purchase of about €229 with three years of free upgrades and installation on up to five Mac, Windows, or Linux machines. A free tier caps tracks at 24 and limits some AI and export features; Suite+ subscription covers desktop and mobile with ongoing updates from about €14.95/month. Build 10.3.1.10935, released 24 June 2026, refines the Add-on manager and piano-roll velocity editing. macOS 10.15 Catalina through macOS 16 Tahoe is supported on Apple Silicon and Intel per the vendor.
