This is all fine and dandy but how the EF does one then convert these thing to a file in a damn folder that I can recognise? UTorrent doesn’t even install any more and I’m fucked if I can find a GOOD alternative. HEeeLLLLLPPPP.
WHERE TO FIND DAMN R2R KEYGEN ALONE, FILE, WOULD SOME ONE SAY IT ALREADY?

chmod +x – the patch
If anyone has the 12 BETA version installed then please read on :-
Don’t bother with all that chmod +x crap or the keygen….just goto your 12 BETA version in Applications…RIGHT click on Ableton 12 Beta, Show Package Contents….Contents….MacOS….COPY the Live file (should have green exec)
Install the version in this torrent….DON’T start it up just yet.
Goto Applications and you should have 2 versions of Ableton Live…Ableton Live 12 BETA and Ableton Live 12.
RIGHT click on Ableton 12, Show Package Contents….Contents….MacOS and PASTE the Live file (copied from Beta)….it will ask keep or replace, click replace.
Empty cache in your user library, empty bin and RESTART….don’t be tempted to start Ableton Live 12 as it will have a wobbler and some lil kitten will die somewhere….just RESTART.
After you have restarted your Mac you are good to go….it may/may not report your version as corrupt…just ignore it….right-click-open if you have to….it did this on my M1 but not my Intel Hackingtosh.

P.P.S. you can now delete the 12 BETA from your Applications folder; if you so wish to save space.
you must run the application once its installed, so it passes the system checks, Afterward, quit application and make sure to make the patch file executable by using the “chmod 777” command in terminal. drag the patched file into the terminal to get the path right.
replace the new executable patch. and once you get the authorization request, you must use the R2R keygen.

– I fixed it, downloading and using the ableton 12 windows version full to use only the keygen to generate the Authorize file.
– Patched “live” on “Contents/MacOS” most of the time needs to be converted to a executable file, you need to open terminal and run: sudo chmod +x /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 12\ Suite.app/Contents/MacOS/Live
You have to “chmod777” in the patched file and the R2R Keygen worked here.

Not woring in M1 Mac … Even changing the permission of the file patch (chmod 777) Ableton Crash in initialization…
It doesn’t even run when I put Live file into Contents/MacOS it says “The application “Ableton Live 12 Suite” can’t be opened.
Ableton does not start with the patched file.
and keyfile does not match
R2R release is out. their Keygen will work to create a valid license !

keygen works but I can’t find it alone
some people have tried it and say it works fine, I can’t find it, they say it can be extracted from the torrent but I can’t find it either.
don’t waste your time, keygen does not generate correct file
At first it did not run the patched file but it is quickly fixed:
using in the terminal :
“chmod 777 ” and the location of the patched file
I run ableton , indicate that I want to authorize it without internet and copy the hardware code and still the keygen doesn’t work.
I did that and it still says “Ableton Live 12 Suite quit unexpectedly. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.”
Is your Mac M-chip series ? Here this procediment to change patch file to a executable file doesn’t work … Ableton crash when initializing… Some help here please ?
