Hi, I dont get where I am supposed to replace the K’ files…
No keyfile is created with the room plugin
Ableton 12 on Sequioa: Can’t select the generated keyfile, I get the
“ValhallaDelay Authorization
Valhalla Delay requires a license in order to run. Please locate the license that has been sent to your email in the next step. (…)”
– window with a CANCEL and an OK button, but clicking on either does nothing, its just stuck.
Is this a Sequoia prob? Thanks if anyone knows how to get around this.

Hi guys / I installed everything according to the instructions and for some reason Ableton Live 11 does not see ValhallaRoom Vst and Vst 3, but this plugin is in the AU2 folder, but when the DaW plugin is turned on, it crashes. Tell me, what could be the problem? (mac OS Monterey 12.7)

Install as stated in the description. copy k`d files to the mentioned folders. run terminal code. run keygen.
Here is the most important thing. OPEN LOGIC IN ROSETTA MODE. OPEN VALHALLA PLUGINS and add the license file, cause it will ask for it only in rosetta mode.
THEN GET IT AUTHORIZED, WHEN DONE. CLOSE Logic, UNCHECK ROSETTA MODE AND OPEN IN NORMAL MODE and VOILA ITS GOING TO WORK.

Adam, how did you get the ability to to drop the keygen file over the plugin?
For those of you finding the issue with the keygen, when you open your daw, the plugin should ask you to authorise the plugin and you drop the keygen over it. And then it will work.
My issue is that because I had previous versions of this on my machine, updating to this new versions doesn’t give me that option. Even uninstalling and re-installing doesn’t work.
Where do you place the keygen file? I have it generated, but now what do I do with it?
i did everything correct BUT Valhalla ( inside pro tools) is saying ” sorry this appears to be an invalid key file”

Get it opened in Logic on a M2Pro, but cannot connect the keyfiles. Get unauthorized- dry signal output. And cannot install the Plugin completly when delete it out of the component folder. Some tips?

i had no problem with shimmer kgen but with room’s, any got it working? any tip? license appears as invalid keyfile
only have problem with delay… in logic x it works but incompatable…… rest all r working fine.
Installed the plugins and copied the patches from ‘K folders appropriately.
But my DAW crashes when I load these. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m having the same problem. did you solve it?
do the same steps you did to the crackes files (the commands sudo xattr… and sudo codesign… in the console) to the keygen file, once you do that you go into the terminal, in the same directory, and you run the file like this: ./Valhallaxxxxxxx-XDIE_KeyGen and it will run like a command line tool
pd: obviously, replace the “xxxxxx” in the filename for the matching filename of the keygen, example “ValhallaDelay-XDIE_KeyGen” is the filename of the valhalla delay keygen, so you run this command: ./ValhallaDelay-XDIE_KeyGen and hit enter

same problem here!
invalid key problem occurs because you didn’t put 3 files from K folder properly.. put components to components, vst to vst, and lastly vst3 to vst3…
Works well on MacBook Air M1, Mac OS Monterey 12.1!!!

INSERT THIS FOR VST PLUGIN
sudo codesign -fs – /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Valhalla*
the previous instruction had VST3 code X2 (forgot to delete the 3 after VST)

Thank you Works for me on logic pro (ARM). Also Thank you for putting in the title that it is for M1, easier to know what to download. Ableton works for AU and VST3 not VST. Shows intel with ableton as it is not M1 yet
