It work on M1
Follow this step :
Open terminal, then:
sudo spctl –master-disable
sudo chmod -R 777 /Applications/AppName.app
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/AppName.app
xattr -cr /Applications/AppName.app
when do we do that in Terminal? Before/After trying to launch the App?
Install it and the run the terminal cmd above.
In fact you don’t really need to execute all those cmd. I always use this cmd
xattr -cr /Applications/AppName.app
type xattr -cr
and then open Finder and drag the app to the Terminal cmd line
It works on mi M1 whit 14.3.1
Right click it then click open. A dialog will pop up saying it is damaged. Click Cancel. After that right click and click Open again. This time the dialog will give you three options to “Open” “Move to Trash” or “Cancel”… of course this time you will click open and it will launch.
For me it did not show this dialog box with 3 options: it had only 2: Move to Bin / Cancel
working fine, I can confirm
