  1. As so often happens on this website, the compatibility requirements are wrong. Dev’s website says “MacOS 11 or higher.”

Since v1.8.6 requires a newer OS than Mojave, I don’t get to experience its non-functionality – I’m still using 1.8.5.79.

Purportedly, most apps on this site are tested first. If that’s so, why are non-working versions of this one posted again and again? I know a mod reads the comments, so why aren’t they ensuring that new versions are REALLY tested to make sure they ACTUALLY work?

  2. Fails to download video. Whether VPN is off or On:

    Error Reports
“Video is either no longer available or there’s been some sort of an error getting data for this video.

    – this video could be geo restricted. Set up a proxy in Preferences and try again.

    – try downloading without VPN, if it’s On

    – firewall or network monitor software prevents Pulltube going online. Please allow all incoming/outgoing connections

    – check for updates

-report the link, if none of the above helps”
