On M1 pro, when I try to install, it says:

“The installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.”

I downloaded it twice, tried unpacking everything… nothing worked.

    Any suggestions?

    M1 Monterey

Key factors to make this work:
    1. Adobe (fake) account, otherwise the dev module won’t work. Which also means you can’t block any connections, otherwise the dev module won’t work.
    2. On M1: Open via Rosetta, otherwise the crack won’t work. Which of course means the performance won’t be as good, but at least it works.

    What I actually did:
I installed and cracked it on an Intel Mac, no problems at all, then only copied the Lightroom App to my M1, open via Rosetta, done. Cherry on top, I don’t have to deal with the whole Adobe Creative Cloud junk on my M1.

I read all the comments, tried everything (had 3 different LR versions 10.0, 10.2 and 10.4), and the only working solution (for M1) is the simplest formula presented by ALC. If you (like me) are switching your Macbook from Intel to M1, just copy the working LR (from Intel Macbook) from the Application folder. Fast and simple! No cracks, no Creative Cloud.

it didn’t work for me. Did you copy just the lrc.app or the whole folder? I tried both, cmd-I to check the open with rosetta option. However I keep getting file is damaged

Well, in my case, with Monterey 12.3.1 and after using a fake email from @gamil acount, to regist has a trial… quit Lightroom and use TNT – Zii 6.1.6.app.
So, I’ve got a trial for 98302 days ;- ))) wich means more than a century to use it…

I belive is more than enough!

After passing the program in the Zii patch, cut internet, LR starts, I can import tons of photos but the development module does not work, there is need for a license.

    Hey everyone,

Here are the steps that worked for me, after hours of trial and error. FYI, I’m using macOS Ventura 13.1 on a Core i5 iMac.

    1. Installed LR.
    2. Opened it once, w/out blocking internet connections.
    3. In the Develop Module, clicked on “Start 7-day trial”. Develop Modules starts working.
    4. Quit LR.
    5. Patched it w/ the supplied Zii patcher (v6.1.6).
    6. Reopened LR, blocked all connections w/ Little Snitch, except the ones to the domain adobe.io (photo-api.adobe.io and lcs-cops.adobe.io.) The Develop Module is enabled.

I don’t know until when it’ll work, especially because Adobe claims the only version compatible w/ macOS Ventura is LR v12.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
