So everything worked but InDesign quits after a few minutes even with my firewall on. I’m using LuLu if that helps anyone direct me what to change in my settings.
Installation completed successfully on my MacBook running macOS Sonoma. Post-installation monitoring reveals persistent CPU usage between 80–110% during idle states, suggesting inefficient background task management or other underlying processes. This sustained activity contributes to elevated thermal output and increased system heat. Therefore, I uninstalled it and reverted to InDesign 2022.
@wallaby, this is always the order to install these since many of the last 5 or more versions FYI. ALWAYS install the minimum runtime for the machine you’re using first.

In order to run the installer you must install the minimum runtime first. Afterwards installer works fine and the apps also.
I gave full access to the disc but nothing to do… MACOS 26
@Sandro: Go to Apple logo/Settings/Privacy&Security/Full Disk Access and add ID2026 to it.

Adobe InDesign 2026.app would like to access other app data App data is kept separate to make it easier to manage privacy and security.
How to eliminate this window at each opening?
Once downloaded and installed, when opened it asks for the connection with Adobe.
