GOT IT WORKED ON IMAC INTEL !!
Installed it and patched it, did NOT WORK like others !!!
Uninstalled it.
Installed it again, then started ID up, NOT PATCHED, and submitted the trial period.
It started NORMAL.
Closed ID.
Patched it !!!
Started ID and it started NORMAL and was patched.
Works normal now WITH PATCH !!

what is “started ID up”? do not understand how to start ID?…

I think “started ID up” refers to “started InDesign up” i.e. run the application normally. You should get a start-up screen that shows you put in a serial or activate the trial mode. Follow steps as described by RS.

yes, it works … installed as the trial version … accepted to start as the trial version … quitting the InDesign … used the Adobe Zii 2021 6p1p6 to patch … start InDesign after doing the patch … you could see the “trial version” is gone …
my imac is intel silicon using macos big sur version 11p6…

There is no such thing as intel silicon unless you mean the chip i just made out of silicon. Intel is the chip maker that apple doesn’t use anymore for their M1 macs

if you need to ask what ‘started ID’ refers to when the post is for InDesign, then maybe this software is above your mental paygrade… why not leave it for people who actually know a thing!

Done the method RS mentioned but now it is not starting up.
Manage to see the loading graphic, ID loads and then instantly closes and goes from the dock.
I uninstalled it and reinstalled and tried the RS method but when opening it before patching, it says trial expired.
Does anyone have any sugguestion?

no action needed. Simply turn off wifi… install adobe in design tnt(Extra folder) then install patch.
you can turn on internet after installation completed. enjoy (MacBook Pro 2020 Monterey)

Installed and the patch works however it keeps crashing on startup. I can workaround it by disabling my internet connection which the app launches and then enabling it again.
Any ideas of how to avoid the crash when internet is enabled? I tried adding some entries to the hosts file but didn’t work.

HELP suddenly Indesign wont work, It will not let me start a new Document or open an old one PLEASE HELP!!!!!
It has been working for months tried throwing out preferences even re installing IT just wont work
I had tried installing Indesign 2022 which would not run on my computer but even so 2021 still worked foe weeks after that PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got it to work, if this happens to anyone else YOU MUST HAVE A BACK UP OF YOUR HD then you have to go to Applacations / Adobe Creative Cloud right click on Adobe Creative Cloud in the folder and pull down to ‘show original”, it will take you to / ACC
then —-
replace these from your back up, ACCC.pimx / Creative Cloud / Creative Cloud CustomHook / Creative Cloud Helper / into your ACC folder
I think this is all from trying to installing Indesign 2022
