1Password 7.9.3 Multilingual macOS
1Password is a popular tool for storing usernames, passwords, credit cards, addresses, notes, bank accounts, driver’s licenses, passports, and more behind one master password, with end-to-end encryption. A built-in password generator lets users create strong, unique passwords and memorizable pass-phrases.
The latest version of the popular password manager is a major update with dozens of new features and improvements, including a new dark-themed, collapsible sidebar that makes it easier to use and manage password vaults.
The app’s redesign extends to the lock screen, login icons, tags, pop-out windows for items, and more, while there is a new custom font Courier Prime Bits, by Alan Dague-Greene, that makes it easier to view passwords.
A quick list of other changes from AgileBits:
- Every pixel has been put under the microscope and polished for maximum upgradedness.
- The new “pop-out” feature allows you to view an item in a window of its own and keep it handy.
- Secure notes are now rendered using Markdown.
- Quick Open allows you to quickly jump to your items or vaults (find it under the File menu).
- A custom password font, all our own, courtesy of Alan Dague-Greene.
- A new password strength meter.
- Touch ID now leverages your computer’s Secure Enclave, making it more secure than ever before.
- Login items now have a gorgeous, custom rendered icon by default.
- Remove duplicate items on a per-vault basis by clicking Help > Tools > Clean Up Duplicate Items.
- Integration with Spotlight allows you to find your items using Apple’s built-in search engine.
- Nested tags allow you to up your organization: add tags with / in them and 1Password will break them down into groups
- Opt in to automatic updates and never be left behind again.
INFO: Synchronization only through DROPBOX

1Mot de passe 7.9.4 it no longer opens since updating to macOS Sonoma (iMac 27″ Intel) please can anyone help to resolve this issue
Many thanks to the TNT team for the work you are doing, please can you release the latest version 1Password 7.9.11 (build #70911000) – released 07/26/2023
not working here in macOS Sonoma / M1 Pro
Got it working after going through a few hoops:
1. As above, codesign in Terminal:
codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/1Password\ 7.app.
2. The app still crashed after being promted for a password.
Before entering the password, go into Settings and navigate to a backup from a previous version and Restore that data from 1Password7 Settings.
The app boots normally after that.
Bugs:
1. TouchID does not seem to work even though it is turned on on 1PAssword7 Settings.
2.iCloud Vault option crashes the app when selected.
A shared vault can be set up in DropBox which does work.
3. There are a couple entries that cannot be deleted, are ‘stuck’ and are also duplicated.
Even when moved to Archived folder or Deleted outright the entry returns in the All Items list a few moments later.
thank you very much! This works for me 🙂
Crashes on startup after MacOS 14.0 Sonoma update on M2 Max MBP.
Worked fine under MacOS Ventura 13.5.2.
Tried to uninstall and reinstall plus codesign per my instructions above, but just get the “1Password 7 quit unexpectedly” pop up.
Any insights would be welcome.
You can use the Bitwarden application free and Open Source, there are lots of videos on Youtube that explain how to configure it
how autofill works. its not working for me
I am still having crashes when logging in to 1Password. Have tried using terminal: codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/1Password\ 7.app.
Still no glory…
Read where 2 dashes were needed before the words -force and -sign. {–force and –sign}
That didn’t work either.
MacOS 12.6.3 Monterey
Any and all help appreciated.
Use terminal to code sign the app.
Type or copy/paste this into terminal: codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/1Password\ 7.app
Working on Intel Monterey 12.6.1
Hello, has anyone ever checked this 1Password application, if there is no virus or malware, as it is a cracked version?
Checked using virustotal comes back clean on the dmg and the pkg file as I’d expect from TNT
works perfectly on Big Sur, as long as you connect your previous vault in the preferences section after the open screen not from it.
Thank you!! You help me a lot
