You can take on the role of a spaceship pilot that can fly between different space stations and various locations from all corners of the galaxy. Your reaction time plays an essential role in your battles with other players as the gameplay is in realtime and entirely based on Twitch skill.
You can fight with other players, prove your skills against Non-Player Characters, join epic border battler between nations or try to annihilate the atrocious Hive. Vendetta Online comes with a prosperous and sophisticated economy that provides numerous opportunities for miners, traders and even smugglers.
Enthralling gameplay
Vendetta Online offers you a starting Nation that provides you a series of benefits and liabilities that are specific to the culture of that Nation. However, these strengths and weaknesses play a secondary role in the progression of your character. You can easily become a military pilot, peaceful trader, guard for hire, despicable pirate or build your own career path.
You can choose to build up your character in both lawful and lawless locations and encounter a wide variety of factions, each with its own policies and shifting alignments. What is more, you can engage in Player versus Player combats at any given point, however, lawful authorities will not stand by as you battle within populated areas.
Character development
Traveling to less safe areas can prove to be perilous, but if you want to join the dark side you will find them more friendly for criminals. Choosing the career of a pirate or smuggler can be difficult especially in populated corners of the galaxy, where groups of players as well as the authorities will stop at nothing to hunt you down.
You can develop your character by acquiring various skills and attributes that can open up new gameplay content that range from missions, ships, equipment, trade items and more. What’s new in Vendetta Online 1.8.393

October 15th, 2016
Vendetta 1.8.393 included:
・Self-defense mechanism now propagates to the capship and all crew members if any member triggers it. If anyone docks before the self-defense timer expires, it will also propagate to them. The victim will be able to defend theirself without faction penalty from anyone who was ever inside the capship during the self-defense time.
・Fixed crash/lockup at startup on Linux64 version.
・Updated Oculus Rift version with updates from Gear VR.
・Minor bug/crash fixes.
・This addressed a meaningful gameplay bug that, while we had been aware of it, we simply didn’t have the development time to address it this summer. Now, however, we’re working diligently to track down and iron out a whole list of long-standing bugs, before moving ahead on other areas of gameplay.
